Academic and Personnel Affairs

The Academic and Personnel Affairs unit focuses on the faculty personnel and teaching aspects of academic administration and manages full- and part-time personnel and teaching activities, as well as teaching assistants. It coordinates full- and part-time academic personnel and teaching activities in accordance with CUFA and CUPFA collective agreements and University policies. It is also responsible for the maintenance and development of the FIS to meet ongoing needs of the Faculty.


Applications for Part-Time Teaching

Please submit your application within the deadline to the department you are applying to, with a copy to CUPFA, indicating not only the course you wish to teach but all courses you are applying to in other departments and/or faculties.

Professional Engineers Licence

Concordia University's Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science program is a quality program that maintains its academic standards by offering programs that are fully accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).

It is encouraged that faculty members/instructors who intend to teach undergraduate courses with a primary engineering design or engineering science content apply for their OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) license as early as possible in their teaching career. This will preserve accreditation and protect the status of the students graduating from our programs.
