Would you like to study in another country and have your courses credited at Concordia? The International Student Exchange Program offers a unique opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to study overseas and benefit from this cultural and educational experience. The term "Exchange" means that there is a formal agreement for exchange students between your Home University and other universities.
And what better opportunity than now when the Ministry of Education for the Province of Quebec offers special funding in the form of a bursary (MEQ Student Mobility Bursary) for Undergraduate eligible outgoing Quebec exchange students!

All students should be fluent in the language of instruction at the hosting university.
You can go on exchange in your study-term but bear in mind that term durations differs from one country to another and you might be late for the following work-term. To begin the application process for an exchange abroad, students should visit the Study abroad website to view countries and institutions participating under the bilateral agreements worldwide. Once students have established a chosen university, they can open up contact with the Exchange Representative(s) at the institution overseas. You are also encouraged to search the CREPUQ website for possible host institutions.
Prior to applying for an exchange at one of the participating universities abroad, it is important that Concordia Engineering students visit the website of the school of their choice to investigate and compare course content and duration, including laboratory and/or tutorial work involved, as well as the credit value of courses and grading system used in the program in which they wish to study. This is essential in order to ensure that engineering students will fulfill Canadian accreditation regulations and standards. This must be done prior to obtaining approval for an exchange from the Faculty.
All exchanges require the approval of your Department and the Faculty of ENCS prior to applying to the Host University . Details and information, as well as the exchange application to download, are available on the Concordia International Website .
Once students have selected a list of potentially acceptable courses that they intend to study, they must then contact the Undergraduate Program Director of their Department or in the case of Graduate students, their Graduate Program Director and/or Thesis Supervisor to obtain written approval of their choices.
