As Associate Dean of Student Academic Services, Dr. Zmeureanu assists the Dean in the general operations and functions of the Student Academic Services. As a member of the Decanal team, he participates in decision making, and assists in strategic planning at the undergraduate level. He also assists and represents the Dean in matters pertaining to the Academic Code of Conduct, serves as the Dean's representative in all operations of Student Academic Services such as registration in courses, readmission in the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, graduation audit, registration in the last year Capstone project and approval of grades for undergraduate courses. He is the Chair of the Faculty Scholarship Committee and Recruitment Committee. He assists in other responsibilities and special projects as determined by the Dean of Engineering and Computer science.
