January 2010 ENCS IT monthly maintenance

To all ENCS IT services users,
In order to do maintenance work on the IT infrastructure, we will have a short
service interruption on Wednesday January 27th, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 am.
Please note that although the posted time says 7:00 to 9:00, most services
will be functioning as normal before 9:00.
Login services will be unavailable from 7:40-8:10 while the filers have their
operating system upgraded.
Other services (mail, printing, login, software licenses, networking etc;)
will be interrupted for approximately 10 minutes as part of the regular
maintenance. Long running jobs may need to be restarted. Windows users will
need to restart their sessions to map their drives to the filers.
Please save your work and log out before the scheduled maintenance.
