I've connected to the VPN network, but my products are not activating, what do I do now?

It is possible that your computer is configured to use a KMS server that it cannot reach. To fix this issue, you can try clearing the stored information, and allowing your computer to find the rght KMS using DNS. While connected to the VPN network, try the following commands:

        For the Windows Operating System:

  1. Open a command prompt as an administrator by either using the "runas" command, or by right clicking on  C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe and selecting "Run as Administrator"
  2. Enter the command:

c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs /ckms

c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs /ato

        For Microsoft Office Products:

  1. Open a command prompt as an administrator by either using the "runas" command, or by right clicking on  C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe and selecting "Run as Administrator"
  2. Enter the command:

            For Microsoft Office 2013 (32bit):
        c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe  "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.vbs" /remhst
        c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe  "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.vbs" /act

            For Microsoft Office 2013 (64bit):
        c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe  "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.vbs" /remhst
                    c:\windows\system32\cscript.exe  "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.vbs" /act

For other versions of Microsoft Office, adjust the path to OSPP.vbs as required.

REMEMBER: You need to allow your computer to "re-activate" itself at least once ever 180 days. Windows should do this automatically if you re-establish the VPN connection to the Concordia University network.
